Gracie | Adopted | Wet Nose Wednesday | January 8, 2014

Gracie was found in the Bartlett area in July 2013.  She is approximately one-year-old and weighs about 42 lbs.  We think she is a Basenji mixed with possibly a terrier.  She still has a lot of puppy in her, but is very smart and learns quickly.  Gracie is very sweet and such a happy, outgoing girl.  Gracie is very active and loves to play with other dogs.  She currently lives with another dog and a bird and also has lived with cats.  Gracie is very affectionate and after a good run or walk she is ready to cuddle in your lap.  A fenced backyard is a must as she loves to run in the backyard.  Gracie loves the dog park because she can run fast and far!  Gracie is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.  She is housebroken but is not crate-trained as she becomes very nervous in a crate.  The best home for Gracie is one that is active and loves the outdoors.  Gracie’s foster Mom needs to have hip replacement surgery so we are looking for a new foster home so her foster Mom can have her surgery.  Please let us know if you would be willing to foster Gracie.
