Sadie was rescued from Memphis Animal Services just before her time was up. She was soon adopted by a woman who wanted a companion for her German Shepherd. Whenever her Shepherd passed away unexpectedly she no longer needed or wanted Sadie. She is approximately 3 yrs old, heartworm negative, weighs 45 pounds, housebroken and is a complete sweetheart. Sadie is shy and very cautious around men but never shows any aggression. She loves other dogs, cats and would do great to be with a family with another dog around her size for her to bond with. Sadie has come out to some adoption days at Petco and she reverts back to being shy and timid when introduced to new environments and will probably never be a totally happy- go- lucky acting dog outside her comfort zone. If you are patient and want to give this girl a chance, you will have a lifelong friend in Sadie.
