Reese appears to be a lab/border collie mix and he was rescued 2 weeks ago from a park close to the University of Memphis. He is approximately 4 months old and is up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm preventative and is scheduled to be neutered soon. The vet estimates him to be around 60+ pounds when full grown. He is now kennel-trained and loves spending time in his “den”. He has learned to ring a bell attached to the doorknob when he needs to go outside and is doing well with his housetraining. He is extremely intelligent and has already learned several commands but will need someone to continue to work with him to reinforce them. He is scared of cars but once inside loves to go for rides. He walks extremely well on a leash and loves it when the neighborhood children stop to pet him. He currently lives in his foster home with one other dog and four cats. He tries to play with the cats but has never made any attempt to hurt them. He is full of energy and would do best in an active home. He is an extremely sweet and loving boy and will make an excellent companion.
