Woody was rescued from the Tipton Animal Shelter in December of last year. He laid out there all week with a foot injury and by the time we got him his leg had to be amputated. There was fishing wire wrapped around the foot so many times and so tight it had cut to the bone. Woody is about a year old and best guesstimate is a Wheaton Terrier mix.
He is such a happy, loving guy. He has become adjusted to the loss of his leg just fine. The foster time had thought they would just keep him, but have decided it is not fair to him. He needs a happy loving family of his own. He loves to play and gets along well with everyone. Woody is great with other animals. He was heartworm positive, but has been treated. He is on preventative, neutered, and up-to-date on everything. Woody would make a wonderful loving addition for any family.
