Tiger was recently surrendered to us at the age of 13. His owner was taking him to MAS when she ran into one of our volunteers. Tiger’s chances of being adopted at 13 were pretty slim so we are thankful we could help this amazing little guy. Turned out he had a rectal tumor protruding from his rear end that had been there for two years. Now, there is always the question of do you really want to put that amount of money in a 13-year-old dog. We voted yes because he is a really good boy with a great temperament and now he has a chance in another few good years. Amazingly, the tumor had not turned into cancer and it was removed and he made a full recovery. If you are looking to take in a great dog and give him a great life for whatever time he has left, this is the one. Of course, none of us really know how much time we have anyway. Tiger is heartworm negative, rectal tumor free, current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Consider a place in your heart for this wonderful companion.
