Suki is a two-year-old female Shih Tzu who was found on the streets of Memphis. At some point she had probably been hit by a car and had some fractures in her pelvis and the bone on her back right leg was broken with the bone going through the muscle. It was an old wound and she had learned to compensate and get around fine. But we did have the leg fixed and she now is the proud owner of three pins in her leg, but finally after almost two months she is starting to use it. Suki is a very sweet girl, but can be a little temperamental when other dogs get too much in her face. She can live in harmony in the house with them, but not so much if they try to invade her space. She would probably be fine as an only dog, but she would be fine with others also. She seems to be fine at adoption day with children, but I would again suggest no toddlers unless just visiting. Suki is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, spayed, and micro-chipped. Let’s make her second chance at life better than the first one.
