Sam is a very sweet female Bichon. Sam because the Good Samaritan that found her thought she was a male. She was very dirty and her coat was stained and a little matted, so we went ahead and shaved her to start all over. When her hair is grown out, you can see she is a Bichon. She is approximately 2 years old. She is very well-mannered and housebroken. She is a little shy with new people, but is very affectionate once she knows you are okay. She gets along with most other dogs. This dog would make a wonderful companion for a mature couple of a family with other kids. I think she would be fine with young ones, they just might make her nervous. Sam is spayed although it looks as if she has had a couple of litters. She is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all shots. She is definitely a keeper.
