Remmie

Here is sweet Remmie. Look at those sad eyes! Remmie has been in rescue for three years. She came from rural Mississippi. She was a stray and I am going to say has never had a loving home of her own. Her life has been an endless string of failed relationships. She loves people, hugs, and human contact. She has been eagerly awaiting her forever home! Her perfect home is a dog savvy person of a bigger stature because she is a big girl. I think she sometimes is intimidating because of her size. She needs someone that has a lot of time for her, as she craves attention. My wish for her is to not have to spend a lot of time in a crate as that has been her life for the last three years. I think she needs all the attention, so it would be best if she is the only dog. She becomes a little territorial if she has to share her person. I wish she could be with a single person or a couple on a big piece of land, but the main thing she needs is someone to love and give her time. It would be a big plus if the person had some dog training and knows how to be the boss. I love her and she loves me, but I have entered my 70’s and my next goal is to move closer to my only grandson. And I would not be able to take her on this venture. I have some little old guys that I have to think of. I feel like in the last months she has just given up. She needs more than I can give her. There is only so much of me to go around. Remmie is approximately five years old and weighs about 65 lbs. Please give this girl a chance!
