Reina is a nine-month-old female Akita mix who was found on the highway with her Mom (Akita) and brother after the mother was hit by a car and killed.  Both siblings were adopted when they were about three months old, but Reina has been returned through no fault of her.  The estranged couple reconciled and moved to another state and did not make arrangements for Reina.  It is the oldest story in the rescue book.  Reina has become a gorgeous young lady who is great with adults, children and other dogs.  She is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.  She would definitely be an easy fit for most any family.
