Kapone and Sable are mother and son Shepherd mixes. They are in need of a forever home and they will do better together but could be separated. Kapone is about 1.5 years old, weighs 45 pounds and is very shy and much more secure when his mother is around. If they are adopted together there will be a break on the adoption fee. Sable came from the Tipton Shelter two years ago in April. She was pregnant and they were sure she would deliver immediately. It turned out to be a few weeks and she gave birth to 11 puppies on Mother’s Day. Over the next couple of weeks all the puppies died except Elliot and Kapone. These are both lovely dogs with great temperaments – Kapone is just very shy. Both dogs are heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and altered.  Either or both would make someone in a more mature household great companions!
