Heath is a 3- 4 year old red heeler. He was caught on the Air National Guard Base running around the planes. We do not know if someone dropped him of there or if he was a stray. He was headed to the shelter but one of our foster parents was at the base and offered to take him. Heath is heart worm negative, has been neutered and has had all of his shots. Heath has all the red heeler attributes, he likes to herd anything he can ( people, other dogs, kids ) He also is very protective of his family. Heath would do best in a family without children or with older children. He needs someone who has experience with herding dogs as this is not a dog for someone who has never had a dog like this. Heath is extremely loyal and loving. He wants to be with his person and be his or her best friend.
