Charlie is a two-year-old male Shih Tzu mix weighing in at approximately 13 lbs. He was surrendered by a lady after her son could no longer care for him. Charlie is a sweet guy who does well with small children as long as the family has taught the children respect for dogs. He is playful and does well with other dogs; his best friend is a 45 lb cattle dog. Charlie came to us with a very common eye problem found in this breed. His eyelids did not close all the way; this was not corrected the first two years of his life so he does have an ulcer on each eye. He has since had the surgery to correct this and his eyes should now shut all the way hopefully alleviating any more ulcers. Charlie is heartworm negative, neutered, and current on vaccinations and ready to find a family to call his own.
