Bentley was 1 on July 24 and approximately 20 lbs. He is a great dog.  He is part Pekinese with some King Charles Spaniel according to his Vet.  He has a silky coat of black and white soft curly hair and his tail is like a feather plume.  He is smart and knows commands, sit, shake, stay, fetch, speak.  He is a great cuddler and sleeps with his person at night.  He is fiercely loyal and is a great alert dog.  Bentley is great with children and other animals to include cats and dogs.  The reason I am looking for a new home for Bentley is he has so much energy that by evening, after being alone all day while I work, he is pinging off the walls of my apartment.  A leash walk just doesn’t get it for him.  He needs a back yard where he can run some steam off every evening and I can’t offer him that which brings me to this crossroad.  He is up to date on all his shots and is on heart worm / flea prevention medication.  He will make a great addition to any family, particularly one with a little boy who wants a best friend to run and play fetch with.  I give him the run of my apartment during the day and he does fine.  I leave a pee-pad down in the event he just can’t hold it till Mom gets home and he has adapted to this well.
