Barney is a tiny (4 lb) senior male Chihuahua with a very submissive sweet temperament.  He was rescued from the Memphis Animal Shelter where his chances of adoption would have been slim to none.  Barney is fine with other dogs although probably a little uncomfortable around really big ones.  He is not one with little man syndrome.  He avoids conflict at all cost.  Barney is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.  Barney just had a dental and did lose quite a few teeth, but it hinders his eating not at all.  He is crate-trained and pretty well housebroken for a 4 lb baby.  Barney would make a wonderful lap baby for a more mature person or couple.  He would love to have his very own FOREVER home this time around.  By the way, he reminded me or Barney on Andy Griffin Show.
