Austin is a male Chihuahua mix approximately two years old.  He was rescued from Marion Animal Shelter by GAPR.  Austin is a lovebug.  His favorite position is on his back in your lap being rocked or curled up under the covers of his person.  He is very sweet and gentle, but does not like to share his spot with another male dog.  He is fine living with all dogs as long as they don’t try to share his spot for sleeping.  Austin was heartworm positive when we got him, but has since been treated.  He is not quite ready for heartworm test yet – that is usually done about six months after treatment.  He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on rabies.  Austin would make a wonderful companion for most any family.
