Lucy is a loving dog looking for a great home. A friend of mine found her in early January at the Walgreens at the corner of White Station and Quince. After posting signs in the area, pics on social media sites and checking for a chip to find an owner with no luck, I took her in. I have been taking care of her since January 5th. I’d love to keep her but I’m not sure the apartment life is what she deserves. I’m looking for a potential owner with a house preferably with a backyard and a fence. Lucy is almost full grown, and is about 8 to 10 months old. She has all her adult teeth in. She loves to play and cuddle. She also snores! She is great with other dogs. Her favorite thing to do with other dogs is play tug of war. She has all of her shots. She is heart worm negative. She did have a tape worm that made it a little hard to put on weight but she has been medicated for that and should be just fine. She was 33 pounds on Jan 23rd and is now 35 pounds. The vet said she is currently 5 pounds underweight. She needs to be spayed soon! She’s as sweet as can be and strong as an ox! I have been kennel training her and she has picked up on it great. She understands commands like “No” and “Sit”. She loves people! This is very hard for me because she is a great pup! I’m not opposed to keeping her if we can’t find the perfect home for her. I just want what’s best for Lucy.
